Last night I had the distinct pleasure to check out Iron Man and let me tell ya, this movie is excellent.
Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau have delivered a movie that shows us what a comic book movie should be.
Iron Man delivers the perfect mix of action, comedy, and visuals that make this picture the perfect summer kick off.
Do your self a favor, get your lazy ass out of your chair and go see Iron Man.

So I am sitting at work and I am taking a dinner break (yeah I am still hear for all 3 meals today) and I am totally saddened by the news I see. At first it was a rumor and then it was confirmed by the AP:
Arthur C. Clarke, a visionary science fiction writer who won worldwide acclaim with more than 100 books on space, science and the future, died Wednesday in his adopted home of Sri Lanka, an aide said. He was 90.
He was a true visionary; He touched many human hearts with stories of cold space and machinery. His concept of Geostationary orbits was the basis for our space based communications platforms. His work with Stanly Kubrick on the film adaptation of 2001: A Space Odyssey still draws people to question.
I know I will miss his works and his visions.

Holy shit!
The trailer for The Incredible Hulk was posted early over at MTV.
I gotta say I am pumped about this movie after seeing the teaser. Edward norton in a role like this seems weird, but he is very commited to the project, so much so he’s butting heads with Marvel due to the cut of the film.

So far the comic book films are nailing it this year. With Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, I really don’t see how this one can miss.

Yeah, you read that right. An AMD 64 3400+ Dual Core processor IN your TV. Okay, maybe not yours, but one of my favorite manufacturers has made them available if you have the scratch.
Samsung’s SyncMaster 820DXn offers a full PC integrated into the box. In addition to the Athlon processor, you’ll get 4GB of flash memory, 512 MB DDR2 RAM, an ATI chipset and Win XPe at the helm.
Okay, maybe MythTV built-in would be more useful, but it’s a novel idea at least! Of course, this PC/TV combo isn’t intended to be your HTPC (it’s geared for corporate digital signage use), but it sure would look fantastic in my living room!
